The UK football week is the busiest in the world. Between the Premier League, Championship, EFL, Champions League, Europa League, FA Cup and international windows, there is almost no evening without a fixture on an official UK channel. This page is the dashboard for the next seven UK-broadcast days.
The five carriers, briefly
Sky Sports carries 215 of the 380 Premier League fixtures per season under the 2025-2029 cycle, plus the EFL Championship’s main package and selected Sky Bet League One and League Two ties. The full Saturday 17:30 and Sunday 14:00 and 16:30 slots live here. TNT Sports holds the remaining 52 Premier League matches, the FA Cup primary linear package, the Europa League, and the non-exclusive Tuesday and Wednesday Champions League nights. Amazon Prime Video holds the exclusive Tuesday top-pick Champions League fixture each week, its only football property this cycle. BBC Sport and BBC iPlayer carry the FA Cup as the free-to-air partner, the men’s and women’s national team fixtures, and the new midweek Champions League highlights show on BBC One. Premier Sports is the exclusive UK home of La Liga and carries selected sub-licensed FA Cup ties.
How to read a Premier League weekend
A standard matchday breaks down as: Friday 20:00 on TNT, Saturday 12:30 on TNT, Saturday 15:00 blacked out under the 15:00 rule, Saturday 17:30 on Sky, Sunday 14:00 and 16:30 on Sky, Monday 20:00 on Sky. Midweek rounds add 19:30 and 20:00 windows split across Sky and TNT.
What is changing under the 2025-2029 cycle
Three notable shifts versus the previous deal: Sky’s share rose from 128 to 215 matches per season; Amazon dropped out of the Premier League entirely; and Saturday 5:30 PM became a consistent TNT slot. The 15:00 Saturday blackout remains in place, the addressable Premier League season tops out at roughly 270 of 380 matches.
