UFC’s US broadcast picture is the cleanest in combat sports: a single rights-holder for every event, with the marquee pay-per-view cards on a top-up fee.
ESPN carries selected UFC Fight Nights on linear ESPN cable, typically the Saturday-night main cards that are not pay-per-view events. ESPN2 picks up selected prelims.
ESPN+ is the streaming home of every UFC event, the prelims for every numbered pay-per-view, every Fight Night main card and prelim, every UFC Apex card, and the Dana White’s Contender Series. Subscription is $11.99 per month or $119.99 per year.
ESPN PPV is the pay-per-view tier for numbered events. Every UFC numbered card (the marquee Saturday-night events) carries a separate $79.99 fee for ESPN+ subscribers on top of the standard subscription. Non-subscribers can purchase the PPV at the same fee through their cable or satellite provider.
UFC Fight Pass is the official direct-to-consumer service. Fight Pass carries the historical archive of every UFC event back to UFC 1, plus selected smaller international cards and Contender Series. It does not carry the live numbered events in the United States, those are ESPN+ and ESPN PPV-exclusive.
A numbered pay-per-view weekend: ESPN+ carries the prelims (usually 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM ET); ESPN PPV main card from 10:00 PM ET. The post-fight press conference streams on UFC’s YouTube channel and on ESPN+. The Performance of the Night and Fight of the Night summaries air the following day on SportsCenter.
A Fight Night weekend (no PPV): ESPN+ carries the prelims and the main card; ESPN cable carries selected main events. No additional PPV fee.
The Saturday-night main card window is 10:00 PM ET for domestic events; international events (London, Sydney, Abu Dhabi) shift the window earlier or later depending on the host market’s prime time.
We list official rights-holders only.
