The UEFA Champions League is the marquee midweek European competition, and its American broadcast picture is a clean two-language split.

The 2025-26 US broadcast split

Paramount+ holds the English-language US rights through 2029-30, covering every Champions League match, Europa League fixture, Conference League fixture, and UEFA Super Cup. Subscription is Essential at $7.99 per month or Premium with Showtime at $12.99 per month. The most attractive matches simulcast on CBS Sports Network and selected marquee fixtures on CBS.

TUDN and Univision hold the Spanish-language rights in the United States, again through 2029-30. The Univision broadcast channel airs marquee fixtures free over the air; TUDN carries the cable schedule.

The Champions League midweek programme airs Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons US Eastern Time during the group phase and the knockout rounds. Note for new American viewers: Champions League matches air on Tuesday and Wednesday, not Sunday, the European midweek window translates to the early afternoon in the United States. Sunday afternoons are reserved for the Premier League and the major US sports calendar.

How to read a Champions League midweek, US-time

Tuesday: matches kick off at 12:45 PM ET and 3:00 PM ET (the two-window European programme); Paramount+ carries every fixture, with the marquee match simulcast on CBS Sports Network. Wednesday: the same two-window programme; Univision and TUDN air the Spanish-language pick-of-the-night.

Studio coverage

The CBS Sports Champions League studio show, anchored by Kate Abdo with Thierry Henry, Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards, airs from London before kick-off and again at full-time. The show streams on Paramount+ and selected episodes simulcast on CBS Sports Network.
